This project involved replacing an aging cement tile roof with GAF Energy’s innovative solar shingle roofing system, delivering both protection and clean energy in a single, streamlined solution. The existing tile roof was carefully removed and the roof deck prepared to meet all structural and manufacturer requirements before installing the solar shingles and complementary non-solar shingles for a seamless, low-profile appearance. The result is a durable, weather-resistant roofing system that preserves the home’s aesthetic while generating renewable energy, improving efficiency, and adding long-term value.
